Baby Jones
Finished round 2 of fertility. The Dr gave me 3 months and then I got to go back in. I have felt pretty down and out because I thought for sure it would work the first round. Katelynn asks almost on a daily basis when her baby will be here. I read a quote the other day by Neal A. Maxwell that made me think, "Faith in God includes faith in His timing". We need to have faith in the Lord because he knows what's best for us. We had planned to have 3 or 4 kids by now, but apparently it's not the right time. Hopefully I will have some good news very soon.
Update on my dad
The past 3 weeks have been pretty rough on us. Three weeks ago my dad finished his sixth and final chemo treatment or so we thought. We were then told that he made need more because of his counts. Wow. So he went in on Wednesday prepared to have another treatment, but to our surprise he didn't need one! They took out his pic line. He will probably need radiation but we can deal with that and it won't be so bad. After 6 months we feel like we can breath. We are excited for my dad to start to look and feel better soon.

NASCAR
Last weekend my sister-in-law and I went down to Las Vegas to work at NASCAR. Wow were we in for a treat. We worked almost 38 hours in 3 days, yelled at by mean women, hit on by drunk men, nearly hit by cars/golf carts, got sunburned so bad our lips swelled, ect, ect, ect. We had a BLAST! It was so entertaining watching the drunk people. One guy was wondering in the parking lot so drunk he kept running into the fence. We had drunk guys get so close that we could smell their beer breath. One guy (from St George) had the guts to touch my chest (not boobs, if he did he wouldn't be able to have children) because it was so burned. We also saw a family sprinkle someones ashes around a tree where we were stationed. I could go on and on, so in short we had a crazy fun time and would do it again! Sorry no pics from the trip.

My Dad
I have been wanting to post this blog for a long time now, but I haven't seemed to be able to. I think now I can express my feelings. My dad was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2007(a little different I know). He had a masectomy and has been going through chemo. He is now on number 5 of 6. At times it has not been easy. At times he has not been able to eat uncooked fruits or veggies and his meat has had to be cooked well done. He has gotten so sick after his treatments that he couldn't eat. He hasn't even wanted to drink coke or pepsi, he says it tastes like chemicals. He has had to wear a mask in public. He has had a pic line in for his chemo and various tests and drugs. Through it all he has been an incredible example. He has continued to work almost everyday. When people ask how much more can he go through, he simply responds that what he is going through is nothing compared to what others have gone or are going through. This has taught me to remember to be positive through my trials and tribulations. Watching my dad go through this and being around him everyday has not been easy. It's not easy watching your strong dad not be able to do things that he once loved to do or for him to look so sick at times. But I am grateful that I have been able to be so close to the situation. My dad doesn't think he's handling it in any special way, but he truely is. We love you dad and hope to spend many more years and memories with you!

My baby is a big girl
Well today is the day I gave birth to our daughter Katelynn Noelle. Four years ago I was in the hospital in labor for 18 hours (12 of which were with no epideral). She arrived at 9:23 pm weighing 4lbs 14oz and 18in long. She has been the most incredible blessing to our family. She is the craziest girl ever and we sure love her!

Our new house
Things have been pretty crazy around here lately. Katelynn started preschool and loves it. We sold our house and bought a new one all within a week. We are moving at the end of this month.
